Snow White

We took Snow White and her little sister princess out to dinner tonight at Papa Luigi's.  I wasn't sure about letting the girls go outside of the house dressed in their princess dresses but Stephen reassured me.  He said, "What difference does it make?  They're just little girls."  True.  So off we went for pizza with Snow White and a little princess dressed in pink and wearing her big sister's Belle shoes, which are four sizes too big for her.  Of course it went fine.  And when we got home and had them dressed for bed, teeth brushed and as I lay in bed beside Mary Grace for those last few minutes before dark, it occurred to me that she won't want to go out dressed like a Disney princess for much longer.  I mean, I don't think that's something little Kindergarden girls want to do, at least not the little Kindergarden girls I know.  And when Stephen told her, "Goodnight, Baby Doll" and she responded, "I'm not a baby or a doll; I'm a grown up big kid," I realized just how fleeting these days are.
