Our Baby is 3!

Our sweet Elsie turned 3 last week. On Tuesday of this week, I took her for her 3-year-old check-up. She weighs 28lbs 2 oz (with her clothes on), is 351/2 inches tall and her head is 48 1/2 inches in diameter. She's in the 50th percentile for weight and the 25th for height. That surprised me because she seems so small compared but the doctor said that she's ideal, there are just a lot of overweight kids around!
She got two shots: an MMR and a Varivax. So when she goes for her 4-year-old check-up, she'll only have to get 2 shots, instead of the 4 that Mary Grace got. It didn't phase her too much, though. We went from the doctor's office to WalMart then straight to tumbling practice, where she bounced and flipped around like normal!

A Weekend of Birthday Parties

The girls enjoyed a party-filled weekend. Mary Margaret's 6th birthday party was on Saturday and Stella's 3rd birthday party was on Sunday. Mary Margaret had a tea party. The girls ate little tea cakes and sandwiches and drank out of porcelain tea cups. Then they made hats. Mary Margaret's daddy brought all the girls home in a limo (borrowed from a friend). Pretty sure that was Mary Grace's first time in a limo, doctor!
Stella just had a few friends over for cake and ice cream. A perfect party for a three-year-old!
