Go Big Blue!

We live in the land of big-time high school football. 5A, state champs, nationally-ranked, traveling to other parts of the country to play, games on ESPN type of high school football.  With no big colleges around, it's kind of the big thing here in the Fall. Well, all year around, actually.  Here's our team taking the field:

Pretty impressive, huh?

And we have just the one high school in our town so everyone is a Wildcat.  Each year, the cheerleaders host a Fall cheer camp for the little girls as a fundraiser.  Mary Grace particpated this year.  As part of the camp, the kids get to cheer on the field at one of the first home games of the season.  Here is our little cheerleader on the field:

(Wish I had a zoon lens!)

The girls had a wonderful time at the game.  Elsie wore her Camden cheerleading uniform.  We saw lots of friends and even were able to sit with a group of them.  So we had our own little cheerleading section (and very nice seats thanks to some season-ticket-holder friends):

We look forward to going to these games for many years to come.  It really is a fun Friday night activity!
