There are so many things that I love about having little girls: baby dolls, hairbows, smocked dresses, princesses, tea parties, cooking together, that indescribable mother/daughter bond, and knowing that one day, I will get to see them hold their own babies. Yesterday, I took the girls out for a special mother/daughter treat: pedicures! The nail salon near our house has two little chairs: a purple and pink one and a yellow one. Elsie sat in the yellow chair and chose yellow polish (because she's a "lellow" apple) and Mary Grace picked the pink and purple chair and blue polish. As you can see, we also got flowers--I am aware that the flowers on toes are akin to pierced ears at this age, but they're not permanent and they made the girls very happy. Now our toes are ready for Spring!
